One of the worst books I've ever read. As is so often the case, the love interest of the main character is infinitely more likable than the 1st person narrator (Emmy). I wanted to give this 4 stars, due to the action and suspense, but I have to deduct a star for the annoying main character. Surely this book was not written by James Patterson. However, Patterson and Ellis wrote a well-crafted story, and I would recommend the book. He can pull you in and make you feel what the characters he has made up along the way feel.
